Eric Bugenhagen is a dynamic powerhouse whose electrifying journey has taken him from dominating the wrestling mats as a Wisconsin state champion to captivating audiences worldwide in WWE and igniting the fitness community on YouTube with his extraordinary feats of strength (and humor).

 

A Wisconsin native, Bugenhagen carved his niche early on as a formidable wrestler, becoming a Wisconsin state wrestling champion. His prowess on the mat led him to the University of Wisconsin, where he not only competed for the Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling team but also served as its captain, achieving a notable rank of #4 in the country at one point. After his competitive days on the mat concluded, Bugenhagen transitioned into a vital role behind the scenes as a strength coach for the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling team for two years, imparting his knowledge and expertise to upcoming athletes.

 

Expanding his impact in the realm of strength and conditioning, Bugenhagen took his talents to NX Level, a renowned training facility where he worked with professional athletes, including the likes of JJ Watt. He also served as the strength coach for Brookfield Academy athletics, further establishing his reputation in sports performance training.

 

 

 

Bugenhagen's athletic career took an exciting turn when he joined WWE, where he was featured weekly on SmackDown in 2021. Unfortunately, his promising trajectory in professional wrestling was interrupted by a significant injury, a blown patellar tendon, which sidelined him from in-ring competition.
