The Elegant Warrior with Heather Hansen

274: How to Advocate-the Basics of Overcoming Doubt, Building Belief and Turning Evidence into Proof

Listen Later

This is a new season of The Elegant Warrior, and it’s called How to Advocate. No matter what you want this year–better health, more money, better relationships–you will have to advocate to get it. You’ll need to advocate for more time, more resources, more money, better boundaries, and more help. In this episode, you’ll learn the tools to begin.

But before we begin, it’s important to remember that one of the biggest tools of an advocate is perspective. When you communicate, you share perspectives. When you advocate, you change them. So I created 3 exercises to help you get better at seeing other perspectives. You can access that here https://bit.ly/ThreeExercisesforGreaterPerspective

Whether you’re a leader, in sales or just starting your career, you need to learn to advocate. In this episode, Heather Hansen teaches you
