It goes without saying that once someone breaks your trust, things don't go back to how they were. It's not the type of thing you can just let go of... and you don't look at them the same way again. Plus, you become suspicious going forward and have to wonder what they're REALLY doing when they are out of your sight. It's a terrible place to be in because even if you try to move on, it's like a seed that has been planted in your brain.
