Jim was a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Kentucky where he worked with several different teams including football and baseball. He played football and graduated from the University of Arizona where he earned three letters. Jim’s best lifts include a 1000 pound squat, a 675 bench press, 700 pound deadlift and a 2375 total in the 275-pound class. He is the author of several books including 5/3/1: The Simplest and Most Effective Training System for Raw Strength. He is currently the strength & conditioning coach for the London Red Raiders high school football team.
