When overwhelmed, the nervous system gets stuck in chronic stress mode (“sympathetic dominance”), leading to subluxation, developmental delays, and exhaustion.

Dr. Tony concludes that Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic adjustments to restore a balanced nervous system are often the missing element in caring for a child with autism. He advocates a whole-body approach while addressing root causes in the proper developmental sequence.
