In this episode, I invited Andy, my husband of 26 years to join me on the podcast.    When I asked him to come on with me, he didn't miss a beat, and said "sure!"  When I asked him what we should talk about, he reminded me of something amazing.  Last year, for our 25th anniversary, his gift to me (amongst other) was a list called, "My Lessons from 25 Years with the Perfect Mate."  He wrote all of the things he has learned, and we talked about his favorite 6-7 in sometimes raw ways.  The ones that will most help you, and what's made our relationship stand the test of time.  Has it always been easy?  No.  We've had ups and we've had downs.  We've lost a baby, we've lost jobs, we've had two mortgages at the same time, and the list goes ON.   You'll hear some gems in this episode about why your partner should be your best friend, and how you show up for each other in good times and bad, in sickness and health.
