Tom Shadyac was the youngest joke-writer ever for comedian Bob Hope, & is widely known for writing and directing the comedy films Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, Patch Adams, and Bruce Almighty.

More importantly though, after being the number one comedy writer in Hollywood who’s movies made billions of dollars… he gave that all up, and started to live a life that felt more meaningful for him. He moved on to make the documentary I Am, & to write Life’s Operating Manual.

I don’t think it’s possible for someone to meet Tom, & to not be moved & touched & inspired to live & love more. I’ve never met someone who has changed the world more than this man, & I’m so excited to share his heart with you thru this episode!
