In this fast paced world it’s really important to nurture the relationships that are right in front of us.

The shiny toy syndrome can be the straw that breaks the camels back so to speak. So many of us find out in hindsight that what we had all along was amazing and that in an attempt to get better faster and stronger we end up with nothing but regret.

My Mom used to say "a bird in hand is worth two in the bush". Don't overlook the magic that is at hand; it won't be here forever.
