For some reason, we tend to describe our dream partner in terms of personality traits rather than appearances. My guess is this is due to our fear of coming across as superficial. I am just as guilty of this since I have always thought that I explicitly chose to focus on meaningful connections with people instead of falling for looks.

Just imagine you meet the sweetest, romantic, intelligent, and wittiest person on the planet, perfect in almost every aspect except a lack of physical attraction. What would you do?

I admit that I did break it off with a nice guy because I couldn’t get over the fact that I didn’t find him attractive enough. This experience aligns with what researchers found: for a romantic relationship to flourish, physical attractiveness is a must.

At least five Harvard University student associations are back-pedaling on their support for a joint letter blaming Israel for the Hamas attack following a backlash. 

A “doxing truck” drove around the university campus Wednesday with a billboard displaying the images and names of people who are thought to have signed the letter, alongside a banner that says "Harvard's Leading Antisemites". 

In a message on X, Hedge fund CEO Bill Ackman called for students to be blacklisted so he and other companies don't hire them. 

Multiple other business leaders, including the CEOs of shopping club FabFitFun, health tech startup EasyHealth and Dovehill Capital Management supported the call from Ackman to name the students. 

Israeli billionaire Idan Ofer and his wife are resigning their posts on the executive board of Harvard’s Kennedy School in protest of school President Claudine Gay’s belated lukewarm response to the student letter.

The Russell Group institution announced it will offer a master's degree in Magic and Occult Science from next September, following 'a recent surge in interest in magic'. 

The university pulled its rabbit out of the hat just months after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak signaled a crackdown on so-called 'Mickey Mouse' degrees which he said left students on a 'poor-quality course at the taxpayers' expense' without the prospect of a 'decent job at the end'.

Following teen diving sensation Quan Hongchan’s gold-medal performance on Tuesday, a video went viral showing a spectator throwing a turtle toy to Quan, who graciously re-gifted it to her coach.
