Some people in China see lack of ingredients as an advantage, though, as it means there’s less hassle in preparing the meals. People siding with such views also point out that it could help fight the after-lunch drowsiness the hearty Chinese meals cause.

Blazing past security the teenager made it into the arms of Messi who was more than happy to oblige with a hug.

After a quick embrace with the football megastar and a salute to the crowd, the fan took off as security closed in. 

He blazed a path around the pitch, even exchanging a high-five with Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. 

Security finally nabbed the youngster after he lost his footing and tumbled to the turf. He was carried from the field with glee on his face.

Jennifer Aniston says one commonly used phrase in particular — often disguised as a compliment — drives her “bananas.”

In China there are no illusions about the Gaokao system being perfect. For many students, the pressure heaped on them by parents, teachers and themselves, is overwhelming.

But, ultimately, most people support Gaokao, or at least see no alternative. “China has too many people,” is a common refrain. Given the intense competition for finite higher education resources, the argument goes, there has to be some way to separate the wheat from the chaff, and to give hardworking students from poorer backgrounds a chance toward upward mobility.
