Insiders said the stage is set for a romantic wedding ceremony this summer in Chris Evans' native state of Massachusetts, where he has shacked up with Portuguese actress Alba Baptista since last year.

China’s homegrown Comac C919 narrow-body passenger jet made its maiden commercial flight from Shanghai to Beijing, in a symbolic challenge to the decades-old duopoly of Boeing and Airbus in one of the most important markets for aviation.

Disney’s latest live-action remake, The Little Mermaid, has been engulfed in controversy ever since the casting of singer Halle Bailey was announced. 

While Disney’s tepid remakes always receive criticism from nostalgic fans, this time, the backlash is transparently racist, with all of the negativity aimed at the casting of a non-white actress to play the titular mermaid.

Hong Kong’s flagship carrier Cathay Pacific Airways dismissed three flight attendants after a swift probe of recorded comments that went viral in China, showing crew members disparaging passengers who didn’t speak English. 

The airline terminated the three just hours after initiating an investigation over allegations of discrimination.
