A Latvian judge in the Latin dance contest at the World Games in Chengdu has gone viral on Chinese social media, with fans commenting on his posture and elegance, which have earned him the nickname “Mr. Ferrari”.

I was once told by a male friend that I should "stop leading guys on" just because I was friendly. At first, I felt slightly surprised. What did he mean? I was just being nice—smiling, making conversation, treating people like, you know, human beings. But he was serious. He genuinely believed that my kindness was being misinterpreted, not because of me, but because of how men are wired to see it.

Recently, a young Gen Zer served me coffee at Starbucks, and I noticed it: the “Gen Z stare"—her flat, zombie-like look that was difficult to read. Thankfully, I had heard about the trend making waves on TikTok. The blank, disengaged expression has been showing up during workplace meetings and daily interactions with customers.

These spaces offer a psychological lifeline, helping jobless twentysomethings dodge prying family questions ("Still unemployed?") and maintain a sense of structure during uncertain times.

Shi Yongxin was often referred to as "CEO monk" for making Shaolin Kung Fu globally famous, and the news of the investigation is being received with shock by the Chinese.

Beneath the glossy image of Kung Fu shows and global business dealings, Shi's leadership has been clouded by longstanding misconduct allegations. In 2015, a whistleblower claimed he kept mistresses and owned expensive cars. While a provincial investigation cleared him of any wrongdoing at that time, the accusations continued to linger.

近期，某境外论坛，传播大量中国女性的偷拍照、私密照，论坛规模超过10万人。偷拍场景涵盖的范围也非常广，包含酒店、公共厕所，甚至还有女性b超室，简直丧心病狂。

A disturbing Telegram forum group—with over 100,000 members and at least 20 subgroups dedicated to explicit content—has been sharing intimate photos of Chinese women without consent, including images obtained through hidden cameras and AI-generated deepfakes.

After media exposure, several victims have come forward on social media. One, Ms. M (23), revealed that her ex-boyfriend secretly took upskirt photos of her and female friends, storing them in a hidden album.

Ms. M said her ex—a fellow overseas student who often discussed gender equality—used excuses like "your sleeping posture looks funny" to photograph her in bed. When confronted, he admitted to hoarding the images as "revenge" for past rejections before turning aggressive.

"We are not... 'content' that can be randomly uploaded, viewed and fantasized about," one user wrote on Red Note, a Chinese social media platform similar to Instagram.
