In this weeks episode, Roger explores how we can find some solid ground amidst the chaos and curveballs that life can throw at us. Some peace, a refuge, an end to the push and pull, fight and flight and a door way to acceptance.
Roger also reads a most beautiful poem from the amazing John O'Donohue titled "Beannacht" which is the gaelic for "Blessing". A wonderful poem for the embrace of steadiness, clarity and resilience in those most difficult moments.
John was a poet and philosopher. He authored several books, Anam Cara, Divine Beauty and Eternal Echoes to name a few. He inspires much of the work here at Alder Tree Mindfulness with his words on nature and life. Sadly he passed away on January 4th 2008, but his legacy lives on in his beautiful words of wisdom.
