After leaving a teaching career in 2008, Fiona Soutter saw the opportunities in running an online business. The mother of three was drawn to the idea of being a ‘digital nomad - she wanted the flexibility of working anywhere, anytime. Fiona dedicated her efforts to learning about the world of digital marketing. She founded a consultancy business, spoke at seminars, published her book, Mumpreneurs Online: EXPOSED and featured as an expert author in other books on the topic. However, a car accident in 2014 derailed Fiona’s progress and she had to fight through years of chronic pain, and all that came with it, to re-establish herself. In 2020, Fiona launched her e-commerce business. By combining her accumulated skills with a strong purpose, she developed a brand that resonated with her audience, which resulted in her being able to quickly grow it to a 7-figure turnover.
