Atom Bergstrom is a wealth of information and it was once again an honor to have him on the radio show.

Today we got the chance to speak with Atom after he got back from a 3 month trip to New Zealand. Because I’m half Kiwi myself it was fun to speak with Atom about his experiences in New Zealand.

For those that don’t know my mom (or mum as we Kiwis often say) is from Auckland and we have family in Auckland, Waiheke island as well as Australia. Personally I feel like Australia is my 2nd home.

In any event Atom spoke to us today from California and we had a fascinating discussion about reflexology and how they correspond to the acupuncture meridian points of the body.

We talked about foot reflexology, hand reflexology, ear reflexology and dental or teeth reflexology. We even talked a little bit about how the different points in the earth correspond to the 7 chakras of the human body. The earth itself has chakras and different points of the earth correspond to other points in the earth. Could this be what ley lines are? Are ley lines similar to meridians or maybe veins or arteries where they carry energy to other places that need it?

Interesting question.

I’d love to know what you think about this.

We also talked about the idea of how reflexology can be trumped in some way. For example is it possible to artificially manipulate where energy goes in the body? Is it possible to direct energy through the meridians systems but to places where it would not otherwise go.

According to Atom Bergstrom this is entirely possible and people have done it.

At the end of the radio show I asked Atom how we can all get connected to our bodies. I wanted to know how we can start feeling our organs. How can we be in tune with not only what we eat but how food affects us? Because we’ve been so removed from the cycles of the earth, the cycles of the body and not only that but we’ve been removed from even feeling our bodies. We’re taught to seek out other people as experts and to rely on them for answers when all the while, we have to simply look within ourselves and find the answers.

I believe that as we progress more with our health and begin to be in tune with our bodies, our fellow humans and the earth, we’ll begin to be more self reliant and be able to heal ourselves.

Atom Bergstrom is a fascinating man and what an inspiration. He’s an incredible model of how we should all be right now.

Atom has been teaching workshops and seminars across the U.S.A. since 1977. With over 50 years experience in health and nutrition, Atom has been counseling people with various diseases and ailments since the 70’s.
