Craig Sharry is the Pitmaster of Texas Pepper Jelly Competition BBQ team out of Houston, TX. Craig is a 2-time World Champion at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Craig is also a 2-time winner of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cook-Off, the 3rd largest sanctioned cook off in the United States where over 220 teams competed.

Artist STRETCH Rumaner (Sculpture/Design/Food) is completely innovative and original, as his appearance on BBQ Pitmasters proved. A frequent guest of Guy Fieri, and not just on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, STRETCH is becoming a common fixture on Food Network shows. He is a wild man and is always a favorite of the show.  He actually ziplined a whole hog into the American Royal for smoking. Dan and Dave will talk with him about creative BBQ and then the boys explore chicken.

Competitive BBQer and restaurateur Joe Pearce is our guest.  Joe has been featured on TV in BBQ Pitmasters and teamed up with Bobby Flay on the Food Network to compete for the crown of “Master of ‘Cue”.  But probably his biggest achievement was opening Slap’s barbecue joint in BBQ heavy Kansas City and recently being proclaimed best BBQ place in Kansas by Food & Wine Magazine. The “epitome of consistency” is exactly who our guest is from week to week on the KCBS competition circuit. Brad Leighninger is the head pitmaster for the championship winning Gettin’ Basted Competition BBQ Team. This team has finished no less than 7th place in the last 6 consecutive KCBS Team of the Year standings, winning it out right 2 of those years (there are literally thousands of registered KCBS teams).  Just last year Brad’s barbecue team edged out Joe Pearce of “SLAP’S BBQ” by 2 points, 2670 to 2668, to win the Kansas City Barbecue Society 2020 Team of the Year.  Leighninger is also a hot and fast cooker with multiple Grand and World Championships that prove it can be done.

If barbecue had a Mount Rushmore, it's no exaggeration to say this guy would be on it! Tuffy Stone is an icon to even the most experienced pitmaster.  His legendary precision and obsession with the science of smoke make him one of the most influential people in barbecue. It also made him 5 World Championships.  Maybe we should hear what the gentleman has to say.
