What makes us stronger in life is going through challenges and experiencing hardship. Though 'strength' is sought after (emotional/physical/mental resilience), the experience of becoming stronger truly does come from very concentrated, specific events in our life that are uncomfortable so that they push us to grow.

We cannot know what strength is without weakness. Looking at & being compassionate about where we've come from & what we've endured is truly the access to experiencing the strength that we've created for ourselves. We each have our own unique imprint of strength that we've cultivated & it deserves to be acknowledged.

The reality is, we never give ourselves enough credit for what we have achieved in life. We compared ourselves to others or to a 'better' version of ourselves that we think we need to be in order to get what we want, or be more confident.

When we have goals in life we tend to think that 'when we're better, stronger, smarter, more experienced, etc. we'll be able to achieve that goal'

When we work towards a goal, it is in the fact the 'less experienced, less confident, less knowledgeable' version of you that is DOING the work to achieve the goal

Being the better version of you, (the confident version of you), is a simply a consequence of you achieving the goal in the first place. What you want comes after the fact, not before, therefore wherever you are at in life is the perfect place to start
