It's time to unleash... The Shadow? We kick off part two of this comic book medley of mad men! It is the 1930s and The Shadow (Alec Baldwin wearing terrible prosthetics) is fighting his nemesis, Shiwan Khan, who is working on building an atomic bomb.
Can he intervene in time or will his bid for redemption forever be in the shadows (pun intended) of his enemy?

It’s a comic book showdown on today’s show - but not the usual kind. Forget your Marvel masterpieces and stale Superman side quests, let’s watch a 52 year-old detective’s scrap with a half-invisible playboy in Dick Tracy vs The Shadow!
First up, 1990’s Dick Tracy. In this comical comic caper, an underwhelming Batman rip-off clashes with a shouty gangster who actually wants to be a musical theatre director. It all feels a bit rushed - perhaps because lead actor and director Warren Beatty was told any budget overspending would come out of his fee!

A riot is the language of the unheard… This week here at Clash HQ we’re making sure these movies about riots are definitely heard about. Chris, Vicky and superstar guest Kaleem Aftab are talking about the legendary La Haine!
La Haine follows 24 hours in the lives of three young men living in the French suburbs, the day after a violent riot. It offers a brutal, stark and sometimes beautiful glimpse of the side of Paris that eras of French cinema consistently shunned - but is it better than Do The Right Thing? Let’s find out!

It’s all go this week as we squeeze the pulp out of two more juicy movies! Up first we have none other than the cult classic Pulp Fiction (1994), while sticking it to the man is none other than Go (1999)!
Pulp Fiction follows the intertwining lives of two hitmen, a gangster, his wife, a pair of bandits and a boxer. Six people, four tales of violence and redemption. As Mia would say: “Now I wanna dance. I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good.”
