Pop the non-alcoholic wine and sit down with Kath and one of their “mainies” Cartia Mallan for a cluster fu*k of an afternoon brain dump!
You know when you meet up with your gal pal to chat about something specific and then before you know it your knee deep in conspiracy theories and you don’t even remember what you were there to talk about in the first place? Neither…
Between physics, Delta Goodrem, Kylie Minogue, piss pools and a strawberry mug that has sent Tik Tok sensation Sopha Dopha into a frenzy, we cover it all.
As Cartia’s very own podcast put it perfectly, just some “Common Chaos”.

Get your “love is love” tees washed because it's Mardi gras season baby!
Ok don’t get us twisted, we think Mardi Gra is SLAY, but sometimes it can be a little morally tricky for the queers as they navigate "Getting that bag" whilst having our experiences capitalised for financial gain. Usually for not a lot in return. Look, there is nothing wrong (in fact a lot right) with big corporations putting money behind community but what happens when it isn’t reflected all year round? What happens when the safes they are created aren’t so safe? Are we just getting got as queers? … Well, let’s talk about it!
On this episode Poppy and Kath sit down to chat about their opinions on rainbow capitalism, why men in comedy need to stop complaining and how inflation is ruining our getaways to beautiful Canberra.

Welcome back to another season of this silly lil pod!
Have/if you've ever spent the new year telling yourself you’re going to “get healthier” ... which in turn means, torturing yourself as long as possible trying every type of cleanse and restrictive regime under the sun until you lose your marbles and go back to hating yourself because you couldn’t live up to the lifestyle of every wellness influencer on your for you page? Yeah nah me neither.
Today Kath sits down to chat about why “detox” is the new word for “diet”and why we all need to stop following people that make us feel like absolute dog crap. We also chat through a little life update, THAT bathtub scene in Saltburn and why there’s definitely something in the water in Utah.

Today's conversation is about the ones we have with ourselves. The doubt, comparison and self consciousness. This season has been a lot of getting vulnerable with other people, so Kath thought it would only be fair to get a little vulnerable with you all.
They dive into what has been going on for them the past few months and have a candid chat about what they are doing to help them-self during these times. A nod to anyone feeling alone with their bullsh*t self talk and how we can try to help ourselves!

Today's conversation we are talking about sex. The big bad taboo word that we are working on rebranding after a long history of hiding her under the bed, we are getting her out and discussing all those questions you ask your girlfriends over a few drinks. Wondering what is normal and what isn’t because well, it's probably all very normal!
This chat would only make sense to have with Alexs Trkulja. Alex is a certified sex therapist and clinical mental health counsellor. She has a Bachelor in Psychology, a Masters in Counselling and a Post-Grad Diploma in Sexology. Her work focuses on things like sexuality, sexual function and body image.
Also our first recurring guest on the podcast! Alex came onto season 2 to talk about sex, body image and shame. Link below to that episode if you want to check it out.

Today's conversation is light but has depth and hopefully makes you feel a little less alone in the world. According to recent data 1 in 5 people will experience anxiety or depression throughout their life. A lot of the time struggles with mental health can come with a lot of shame and isolation. Let's change that.
We are going to have a conversation about mental health, diagnosis, tik tok therapy, creative comparison and so much more. To help Kath have this conversation we are joined by the wonderful Chris Cheers.
Chris is a psychologist and educator. Passionate about creating accessible, accepting and safe spaces. Through extensive training and lived experience, Chris has also developed expertise in providing individual psychology services and workshops to artists and creatives and the LGBTIQ+ community. He recently released his book called “The new rulebook” , a practical, game-changing guide to embracing uncertainty. It compassionately asks you to re-examine five key areas: self-care, emotions, work, body and love.

Todays conversation is a soft one. With 77% of adults consuming Alcohol weekly it has become so normalised in our society many of us don’t even know why we drink, we just do.
For many, drinking begins in adolescence as a means to assert your independence and cool factor to other peers. As an adult alcohol is a way to socialise with other adults. A lot of drinking culture is centred around connecting.
What if you didn’t drink alcohol but remained just as connected. Kath has been sober since the age of 18 and has seen this journey through many forms.
Kath sits down to have a light, fun and helpful conversation about navigating your way through a world that is so alcohol obsessed when you have decided that maybe drinking isn’t for you. Wether it be forever or just for a moment in time.
To help have this conversation they are joined by dear friend Tommy Misa. Tommy is an actor, writer and advocate. With their work often focused on the intersections of lived experience and with common themes of race, class, mental health, addiction and queerness, often using humour as an approach.
