Creating Content and Frameworks That Get Results With Mel Abraham

Welcome back to episode #289! I’m so excited to introduce you to my good friend, Mel Abraham! Mel is the king of frameworks and we are going to dive deep into how to create content that is good enough and great enough fro people to want to keep consuming and coming back to your lives, your blog, your website, everything you can possibly think of!

“How do I elevate myself?...” At minute 1:28 I’m telling you my very first impression of Mel and the first time I met him. If you don't know Mel he shares his background, challenges he’s run into and how he got to where he is now. He also shares the 2 types of frameworks and why they are so powerful.

“I don't know that the imposter syndrome ever completely goes away…” At 7:20 we talk about the different types of frameworks including the benefits of a diagrammatic framework that can. We also dive into imposter syndrome and how Mel deals with it every day, but hear how that doesn’t stop him.

“We need to control the message that’s out there in the world...” At minute 12:00 why you should make sure what you are teaching makes sense with your brand or if you should refer them to someone else. Mel tells us the boundaries he set up for himself so he knows what is worth his time and when to know what engagements he should take outside those boundaries.

“We need to deliver a result, deliver transformation…” At 17:10 Mel talks about the framework behind creating  content and how to use your own platform so people see you as the expert in your industry. Mel tells us the 5 phases to move from information to transformation.

“This is our calling, our lifetime’s work, why are we being impatient with it...” At minute 20:06 Mel gives insight on how to deliver what our customers want but still give them what they need. Mel dives into the next steps to creating amazing content.

“Just give them what they need...” At 27:01 Mel and I share a few learning lessons and mistakes we’ve made with courses and books that we wish we knew back then. How we can use frameworks to take the complexity of what we do and make it simple. Mel tells us how many pieces a framework should have and what that structure looks like and the last steps to the framework.

“I believe we’re serving from our internal calling…” At minute 33:02 Mel tells us where he sees the most difficulty and the biggest problem area that people miss. He also gives us one last takeaway!
