Lane Kawaoka is a cashflow investor who retired from his career as a professional engineer only 12 years out of school.  After creating a life where his passive investment portfolio paid for all of his living expenses, Lane now teaches others how to invest.

Lane's mission is "to help regular people into good deals that were once only accessible to the rich."  We discuss how most financial advice works for most people, but that if you are highly successful and want to be wealthy, you have to study what wealthy people do, not follow the advice of the masses.  Specifically, if you are a high-income earner considering alternative asset classes like real estate or oil and gas, it probably does not make a lot of sense for you to be the boots-on-the-ground.  Instead, we talk about ways in which high income professionals can find, vet, and invest alongside expert operators.
