This week we dive into the bittersweet reality of parenting milestones. As any parent in the universe, we spend so much time looking forward to our kids' big moments—first words, crawling, wobbly first steps, potty training, and more—when they finally arrive, it can be a mix of excitement and some unexpected sadness- WHAT?! Let us explain….once they walk, they’ll never be a crawling baby again, and once they’re potty trained, that adorable puffy diaper butt is gone for good & you’ll find yourself somehow missing it. 

If you’ve ever been frustrated by the unsolicited negative “just waits” that get thrown your way in parenthood, this episode is for you. We talk about our favorite milestones, the ones that completely took us by surprise, and the heartstrings-tugging moments like that first morning dropping our kids off at school that make us wish we could just FREEZE TIME.

Parenting isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, (sometimes it’s diaper blowouts and major sleep regressions) but when you see your kids reach big milestones knowing you played a big role in them getting there, it reminds us all what a privilege it is to be living this precious life with our kids!!!

Let’s recap all things Halloween! Holidays are always a mix of cute and chaotic when chasing the littles around. We had some major wins feeling like we nailed the family costumes this year and Tayla succeeded in hosting the cutest family party…are we getting the hang of this parenting thing?  

Something we noticed at the party was how unique all of our kids are. They are born with their own special personalities and it was so fun to see them interacting with each other in different ways. We’re going through all of the personality types that make our kids so them.
