The activities that we do most habitually create the deepest grooves in the mind. All that repetition gets us hooked on the behaviour––that could be a good thing, could be a bad thing. It depends on what the behaviour is.
Then there are the times in our lives when we bust out of habits and we do something new. What I'm interested in talking about is the motivation beneath the "new things" we try. Because sometimes it's the ego pushing us to prove ourselves. And sometimes, it's our Soul moving us toward real expansion.
In this episode, I'm talking about aversions + desire (they are mates.) And the drive to be a more conscious person by doing new things, versus, the ego's compulsion to check off impressive sh*t on a bucket list.
