HOORAY! YOU ARE DOING IT!
As we dive deeper into our 2nd week of our program from Self Sabotage to a Sacred Journey of the Self, the need for deep contemplation arises. This is the pivotal pillar of the healing journey. Through confrontation of the stories which shape our reality, we are able to start to see what is not actually true. We can name it and it begins to loose it's power over us. For our purposes it comes much of the time from subconscious shame around alcohol or what others will think about us, what it means about who we are if we admit alcohol is a problem in our lives. We create stories that are not based on first hand experiences. They are simply thoughts based on the past or false conditioned beliefs.
It limits us to find out. To even step into the space to experience the emotion we are so scared of. So much o the time, we find out, it was never as bad as we thought it would be. We need to be brave and courageous this week enough to find out! Step into this week of inquiry with more compassion and curiosity than ever before. Just like you are reading your life as a mystery novel. Let it invoke emotion, but let the suspense take you further. You are stronger than you think you are. Don't miss this step for deep transformation. It is the building blocks to prove to yourself, there is nothing you aren't willing to feel to seek the truth. Your willingness to be wrong is required. This quality, is the quality of successful, happy and greatly satisfied people. Be wrong about everything, especially alcohol!

What do I shame myself for?
What do I think is ugly or unpleasant about who I am?
What am I most scared to discover about myself?
Do I know these to be true?
How?
How does it make me feel?
Who would I be outside of this fear?
Are your fears from first hand experience?
Where do they come from?
