Three years ago, Christopher Connolly, from Rialto, began his journey to recovery after a long-time cocaine addiction that left him scared for his life. The 29-year-old was suffering from extreme paranoia which he described as a “perfect storm of destruction” and led him to flee the country at the height of the Covid pandemic. After his family found him attempting to hide in the UK, Chris decided to remove drugs and alcohol from his life and spent months in a treatment centre getting his life back on track and what a recovery it has been. In this week's episode Chris joins Gary and Gareth to tell his incredible story, how running saved his life and his love of pasta.
