"No matter how much pure intention you put into the world, it doesn't mean it's always going to be received that way or responded to as though it was."

Often, we're going along just fine, and then something happens, and a member of our supporting cast—our friends or business besties—decides, without warning, that their part in our life story is over.

This can come in different packaging, from betrayal to even being ghosted.

But no matter what format the end of your friendship takes, finding out someone you thought would always be in your life isn't going to be is always painful.

And it can be downright lonely, too, because as adults, making friends, (especially for women) can be very tricky.

So how can you get over being blindsided by the loss of a friendship?
