EP375: Debunking the "getting in the room" and the BS you need to stop to make the most of those rooms

Listen Later

In this episode, I am talking about the impact of attending events, extending beyond merely listening to keynote speakers on stage. The true value lies in the connections and relationships formed with others. The network and the valuable knowledge gained are what truly matter. I believe you should prioritize utilizing the network and integrating what you have learned before moving on to the next event. The power of attending events lies in the connections made and the knowledge gained, rather than solely the act of speaking on stage.

I also talk about the importance of avoiding quick solutions or actions to address pain point - like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet hole. Instead, I believe you should dedicate time to acknowledge and understand the middle ground before taking action.

The middle ground refers to the messy and uncomfortable phase where you must confront your beliefs, pain points, and the underlying reasons driving your desire for change. It is within this space that you can explore worthiness, significance, and other factors influencing your actions. It serves as a platform for introspection and self-reflection.

By investing time in the middle ground, you can gain a deeper understanding of your motivations and beliefs. This self-awareness is crucial for making informed decisions and taking effective action. Acknowledge your pain points and thoroughly explore them before moving forward.
