Jennifer also acknowledges the challenges that Enneagram 8 personalities face in embracing vulnerability, as they tend to second-guess others' motives and prefer isolation to avoid being betrayed or put in vulnerable situations. However, she highlights that true strength lies in vulnerability, compassion, and empathy.

We stress that developing the ability to be vulnerable can only be achieved through relationships with others, even though it may be intimidating for Enneagram 8 personalities who fear betrayal and violation.
