You can't create success if you identify as someone who is constantly stuck or struggling. Like on social media, many new fitness entrepreneurs feel frustration when their content gets little to no engagement, but the energy you bring to your business—one of possibility versus pessimism—directly impacts your results and your ability to attract clients. It might be time to reframe low engagement not as failure but as practice, to find gratitude in small wins, and to use tools like visualization to maintain an abundance mindset. The algorithm, the likes, and the outcomes are largely neutral. It's your perception and energy that determine whether you keep showing up and ultimately succeed.

After 15 years of online business under her belt, Kyra Williams still hit a wall. What she needed was strategy. In this episode, Kyra opens up about restarting her business from scratch after a partnership ended, the stagnation that led her to finally join FBA last September, and how checking her ego was the key to embracing mentorship after years of going it alone. Jill and Kyra discuss the power of committing to a system over piecing together random strategies, the importance of community for honest feedback and perspective shifts, and why posting imperfect content is a necessary step toward finding your authentic voice online.

Megan Dell went from getting crickets in a local moms' Facebook group to landing a year-long client within seconds of posting, and the only thing that changed was her messaging. Today, Jill and Megan chat about
building a flexible online fitness business that you can literally toggle on and off depending on the season of your life. After leaving a career in the hotel industry, Megan got certified as a health coach and personal trainer, but quickly realized that knowing your craft and knowing how to sell it are two completely different skills. Since joining FBA a year ago, she's nearly doubled her prices, built out an offer suite that includes in-person training, group coaching, and DIY video courses, traveled with her family, spent summers present with her kids, and still managed to sign new clients the moment she's ready for them, all by doing exactly what she learned, word for word, rep by rep, until it became second nature.

What if you could build a profitable online fitness business without quitting your job, going viral on purpose, or having everything figured out first? That's exactly what Danielle Barr did. In this episode, Jill sits down with the corporate marketer and group fitness instructor who started filming one-minute workouts on her kitchen counter between Zoom calls—and accidentally built a movement. With nearly 95,000 TikTok followers, an email list of 1,400+ subscribers with a jaw-dropping 90% open rate, a sold-out group coaching program, and a DIY course with 67 buyers, Danielle did it all organically, imperfectly, and while juggling a full-time job and kids. The one decision that made all of it actually happen for her? Joining FBA.

Liz Myers went from burned-out gym trainer working 12-hour days for $25/hour to running a six-figure online business coaching mountain athletes—while spending most of her week on the slopes.Today, Liz is sharing her exact business progression: starting with hybrid in-person/online coaching, building a signature pre-season training program for skiers and snowboarders, then expanding to DIY programs and now membership. It took three years to gain real traction, which just goes to show that most people who succeed are simply the ones who don't quit. Liz also talks about the mental game—from imposter syndrome to the ups and downs of chasing viral posts—and shares what kept her showing up even when she wasn't seeing immediate results: accountability through FBA and trusting that consistent action compounds over time. Her advice for anyone hesitating to start? Just jump off the cliff. You can work for someone else's success or invest in your own future. It will take longer than you want, but if you're not willing to be uncomfortable, you'll never see what you're capable of.

You cannot afford to wait to start your online coaching business. While more coaches enter the market daily, clients now have the pick of the litter and are searching for the exact right coach for their specific problem. The longer you wait, the more niched down you'll need to be—and you can only discover your true niche by taking action, not overthinking. The good news is, the algorithm is currently favoring smaller accounts like never before in social media history. Platforms are actively pushing your content to non-followers the moment you hit publish, and accounts under 10,000 followers are getting priority. This won't last forever—algorithms always change—so you need to capitalize now. The sooner you start, the sooner you gain mastery, and you'll need time in the trenches with real clients to build the confidence that you can consistently deliver results. Every day you delay is another day you're falling behind in building the trust, experience, and positioning you need to succeed.

In the final #PostsToProfits training, Jill teaches exactly how to create an irresistible coaching offer and how to sell with integrity. You'll learn the six parts of an irresistible offer: the three P's, the best way to add bonuses, the importance of including guarantees and testimonials, and creating real deadlines that drive action. Jill also introduces transparency marketing, explaining how old-school asymmetrical selling (where the seller has all the info) breeds distrust, while transparency gives buyers all the information to make informed decisions—turning sales from pushy to collaborative. Ultimately, selling is a service, and if you have a solution that can help someone but don't put it out there because you're scared, you're doing them a disservice. The transformation starts with the transaction, for you and your clients.

In the second training of #PostToProfits, Jill dives deep into niching down and the power of storytelling to attract ideal clients. There's a critical misconception that the coaching space isn't becoming too saturated—truthfully it's becoming more sophisticated, meaning clients now have more choices and can find the exact right coach for their specific problem. This makes niching down even more essential in 2026. Along with understanding your niche, you'll need to understand how their ideal client thinks, not just their age or income. The key is knowing both the "before picture"—current struggles, unwanted experiences, inner dialogue—and the "after picture"—desired outcomes, new identity, and how they want to live. If you can articulate how someone feels even better than they can, they automatically assume you have a solution… and of course, you do!

In part one of #PostsToProfits, Jill breaks down the fundamentals of building an online coaching business that generates actual revenue, starting with the critical distinction between being good at coaching versus being good at business. She introduces the "5 C's" framework for content creation and the three types of paid offerings you can start to build out. Aspiring coaches are often stuck, not because they lack expertise, but because they're using vague "transformation language" that doesn't resonate with potential clients. Instead of saying "I help people have a better relationship with food" or "I help moms feel confident," coaches need to use the "camera scenario" technique—describing tangible, specific pain points and outcomes their ideal clients can visualize. You'll leave this training with actionable steps to take to help you begin your online coaching business today.

Instead of creating large, robust courses that your clients struggle to complete, it might be time to try out "micro" solutions for the micro problems your audience faces. Attention spans are shorter than ever, and customers now want faster, more specific results they can implement immediately—things like "get your first pull-up" or "add 1-3 inches to your glutes in 90 days" rather than comprehensive year-long programs covering every little thing you can think of. It's a simple and more streamlined approach, with a big opportunity for creating meaningful connections.
