My incredible guest today is a man whose insight into the entrepreneurial life will uplift and inspire you. In this episode, I’m joined by celebrity podcaster and branding king, Shawn Anthony. 

Normally in the driving seat interviewing celebrities on his own podcast, “School’s Over Now What?” Shawn trades seats with me today as I ask him questions about his life, his career and his mindset for success.  With openness, humility and contagious energy, Shawn shares about how he got started at the age of 14 and how he now works with other entrepreneurs to build a successful brand through podcasting and personal coaching.

A natural leader and having an obvious flair for collaboration, Shawn makes it all look rather easy.  In this episode, he talks about what he does to keep on producing in the challenging moments and what his week typically looks like behind the scenes as he continues to build his online community.

If you don’t already know my guest today, it won’t take you long to discover and fall in love with the incredible energy that she carries. In this episode, I’m joined by Erika Cramer AKA the Queen of Confidence, and she shares from her life, what she does and why she’s become like a big sister to so many women around the globe.

Erika’s story is a big one.  Surrounded by trauma, experiencing huge loss and growing up in the foster system, she pushed through a huge amount of adversity to get to where she is today. Now, she’s a ‘tell it as it is’ confidence coach, empowering women around the world to step into their true selves through her global community, the Sistahood.  

In this episode, Erika takes us through a portion of her journey and how even in the midst of abuse and suffering, she felt the universe holding her up, enabling her to take the next step forward.  She shares about how a drink driving accident was the catalyst for change in her life but how the death of her first husband brought her to rock bottom, eventually leading to the deep inner work that she so desperately needed and which she shares with the world today.

Erika speaks with beautiful affection about her husband Hamish, referring to him as Gandhi, and how his spirituality has been a gentle guiding in her life, always being there as a calming support. Erika talks about the financial difficulties they faced when she first started her coaching career and how she had to be the driving force behind the business, knowing it was what she was called to do.

This episode actually started out as a conversation between Mike and I about planning for Black Friday and then we realised it would be a great chat to share with everyone.  In this episode, we talk about what we’ve learned from the past 3 years of doing Black Friday, our approach to this year and the different roles we will both play in rolling it out

As OBM, Mike takes care of the planning and tech behind our launches and he runs through some specifics on what this year will look like.  Because Mike takes care of that side of things, it frees me up to do what I do best and in this episode I share about writing my nurture sequences and how I let the universe speak to me about my sales strategies.

Did you know that some companies get up to 50% of their revenue from Black Friday sales?  That’s nuts!  But for us, it’s not so much about making the big bucks as it is about connecting with our followers and seeing the conversion into first time sales.  That’s the exciting part where we can then continue to take them on our client experience journey where their lives and businesses will be enriched because of what we can offer them

Black Friday is also a fantastic opportunity for a marketing and branding exercise.  We’re given this narrow opportunity to find out what our clients are looking for and the learning from that is so helpful for future offerings.  So, if you’re doing Black Friday this year, go for it!  What have you got to lose?

I’ve become truly fascinated with all things neuroscience this year. I recently had my first ever hypnotherapy session and I’m so excited to share the journey with you.  I was presented with an opportunity to work with an amazing private hypnotherapist so I took the plunge to specifically look at success, high performance and connecting deeper with my spiritual guides. If you’re fascinated with neuroplasticity, NLP and keen to hear more about hypnotherapy, this episode is for you.

In this intimate episode, I reveal the things that were uncovered during my first hypnotherapy session and how I already feel like I’m moving on to the next level.  It’s amazing what a little bit of subconscious access can do to bring the lessons out. I share about a terrifying experience I had when I was younger which led to a deep belief that money wasn’t safe.  This memory and others have shaped my mindset surrounding success and the need for validation, and I go deeper into how those things have played out in my life

For those who’ve heard me speak before, you’ll know that the way I run my business is deeply grounded in spirituality.  It’s been an amazing journey for me and I’ve loved discovering more and more as I’ve dived deeper into business.  

In my corporate days, I did a lot of personality testing which helps understand your motivations, responses and emotional intelligence and although these tests are useful, they’re only insightful up to a certain point. I was really hungry to discover more.  I started searching for more understanding of who I really am and uncovered a whole new world of spirituality. In this episode, I share my top 4 ways of discovering your spiritual typography and how it can help you in business.

You probably know already that I love astrology so I spend some time diving into chart reading and how understanding my North Node was pivotal in how I think about spiritual typography in business.  I also talk about my other love, Human Design and how it has been a game-changer for so many people in understanding who they are in life and in business. I also share about Chinese Zodiac and my relatively new obsession with Goddess Archetypes.

Tapping into my spiritual self and being in my true energetic state has completely shaped the way I do business.  And it’s fun! I really encourage you to dig a little deeper and take what resonates with you, and even what doesn’t.

In my journey as an entrepreneur, I tried a lot of different things.  But it wasn’t until I started tapping into my love for astrology, human design and different cultural beliefs and systems that I really started to see how spirituality links to business.  And for me, it’s the only way I know how to do business.  I’m so excited for this episode because I have a special guest with me taking us deeper into the journey.

Today I’m joined by the beautiful Laetitia Andrac, a Holistic Business Coach who blends innovation and strategy frameworks with coaching, mindfulness and Ayurveda approaches to help her clients make a lasting inner and outer shift.  Through one-on-one coaching, her Mindful Leadership Circle and an upcoming Mastermind, Laetitia carries an energy dedicated to empowering others to reach their dreams with clarity.

In this episode, Laetitia and I dive into the topic of discovering and connecting with your inner goddess.  We hone in on how we can connect with goddesses, what they can teach us and how we can channel their energy into business.  

Growing up in the country town of Provence in the south of France, Laetitia was taught to nurture her spirituality by her parents who were natural healers.  Not knowing why, she was deeply drawn to India and at the age of 21 she ventured into the unknown, spending 9 months travelling India and undertaking a deeply transformative spiritual journey.  It was during this time that Laetitia first started connecting to goddesses, understanding the power of their energies and how to harness them to see change in her own life.

Laetitia shares 3 Hindu goddesses that we can connect with to help us in the realm of business and describes the unique energy that each goddess carries.  She talks about the importance of embracing both masculine and feminine energies and how we connect with them to balance the mind, intellect, ego and consciousness.

Finding a mentor is a very big decision and one that I don’t take lightly.  When I work with a coach or a mentor, I am all in.  I show up, I absorb everything they bring to me and I’m fiercely loyal to the relationship.  In the two years since starting my business full time I’ve had three mentors and each person was perfect for the season I was in.

In this episode, I talk about my three mentors, why I chose to pursue a relationship with each of them and how they helped me on my entrepreneurial journey.  I share my thoughts on private coaching, why I love masterminds and why it’s so important to find a mentor who can guide you and create synchronicity. It’s like double dutch skipping!

I’m big on journaling and today I share a really special journal entry I wrote back in September that led to the manifestation of my current coach, Scott Oldford, into my life.  I read out the specific qualities that I told the universe I was looking for and share the story of how I was connected with Scott 2 weeks later. I’m so excited to be working with him in this next phase of my journey because he is exactly the type of mentor that I called in.

I’ve had a lot of requests to hear more from this very special guest today. He is my partner in business and my partner in life.  He’s an Aquarius, a Manifesting Generator, a man of many talents and interests, my husband, Michael Poon.  

In this episode, Mike and I sit down for a chat to talk about some of the dynamics involved in running a business together.  Mike shares his side of the journey giving up his full time job to be a stay at home dad and his ongoing dedication to Own Your Hustle.

Being a true Manifesting Generator, Mike always has a hobby going on in the background.  He’s always vlogging something!  Today we talk about the time I freaked out about a business breakup, worrying that Mike would leave our business for one of his own.  You’ll hear a bit about Mike’s new business (and don’t worry - he’s not leaving us!) and why I had to tell him I was feeling insecure.

We talk about the importance of recognition, understanding each other’s way of working and why the simple gesture of buying your wife a coffee should never be underestimated.  We also chat about how Mike has been excited to get more into the coaching side of the business and how he’s been working with other men to help them support their partners as they scale their businesses.

I am so excited about sharing this episode with you guys.  Today I’m joined by the beautiful and magnetic Krystle Alfareo, a business coach dedicated to helping entrepreneurs grow their business with more alignment and flow.  

Krystle joins me today to talk about something that is a bit of a hot topic at the moment - Human Design.  You may have heard the term or already know a bit about it but I guarantee you’ll want to dive right into it after this episode.  Krystle shares about how her journey into Human Design transformed her life, her family and the way she runs her coaching business

What is Human Design? In this episode Krystle gives us an overview of what Human Design incorporates and how it helps you to discover your natural flow and therefore enable you to live life aligned with your true self.  She shares her personal journey from butting her head up against a brick wall in the corporate world to living a liberated life running her own coaching business.

As a Projector, Krystle discovered that she needed space to focus on her craft and do the things she loves, instead of following the traditional methods for building an online business.  When she started leaning in to her natural tendencies, everything started to flow.  Krystle shares some tips for other Projectors out there and encourages everyone to discover their own unique design.
