FRD is solving a huge problem for dads. Our culture has turned "Dad" into a joke. Go ahead, google Dad and you'll find Dad Bod, Dad Jokes, Dad Weed, etc. Culturally, it's a Homer Simpson mentality, and it's BS.
Our community is built for solid men. Men with range. Those who are badass, and know there's still more to learn, together.
Most guys find it hard to find "their crew." Finding other committed men, who are successful in life, and want to put family first – these guys are rare. Is this you?
In FRD, hundreds of men from all over the world show up for each other, to share resources and raise the bar of fatherhood (our core values)
If you're reading this, you want to grow. Podcasts are great, but guys… when you're ready to stop just listening to content, and want to JOIN the conversations – the FRD brotherhood is ready for you.

Rick Hupp is an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, specializing in helping people heal from trauma and build better relationships. If your life ever feels like a broken puzzle with a few missing pieces, we'll talk about how you can put it back together today.
In our conversation, we'll explore a few big questions: why do so many guys struggle to create peaceful, loving relationships? How does our past factor into our present relationships and "Internal Family Systems"? And how can we manage conflict, triggers, and resentment in better and healthier ways for our families.
Rick shares some practical tools for easing tension in relationships and choosing our partners in ways that aren't just repeating the same old patterns. We'll talk about meeting vulnerability with more vulnerability when we'd typically release our anger on our partners and create guilt and shame instead of repairing and resolving our issues.

In our conversation, we'll talk about the rewards of going on solo adventures to work on our ego, test our endurance and mindset, and practice gratitude. And, of course, you'll definitely want to hear about the incredible 30-day adventure, hiking over 500 miles and climbing 6,000 feet of elevation on the Camino Frances.
You'll also learn a valuable lesson from his rain gear story, how it's a worthy investment when adventuring, what happens when you don't have a good one, and how he solved the problem.

It finally happened! I've got Giovanni Marsico with me on the pod today. Gio is a 2x EMMY® Award-Winning Producer, TedX Speaker, and the Founder and CEO of Archangel, a global community of superhero entrepreneurs and game-changers on a mission to impact millions of people together.
We had a lot of fun digging into how Gio believes we can manufacture serendipity if we allow ourselves to stay present and tune in. You'll also hear Gio talk about when his teachers realized he was gifted at a young age and how it wasn't as fun as you'd imagine. But when he discovered the X-Men comic books, it changed his definition of what being gifted meant, and now he wants his and all kids to be encouraged to share their own superpowers with the world.
Gio has been creating EPIC events since he was 16 years old. And you won't want to miss the story he shares of the HUGE event he put on when he was SEVENTEEN, at North America's largest nightclub at the time with thousands inside and thousands more lined up to get in. It's a jaw-dropper.
Lastly, the next Archangel Summit is happening on September 21, 2024. For more info, check out ArchangelSummit.com. It's sure to be another EPIC event. You'll understand why when you check out this episode. Enjoy!

Mike Brown is a man with a fascinating blend of experiences as a wealth coach, investor, and former NAVY fighter jet pilot. He's the founder of Unbreakable Wealth, a coaching program with a mission to help entrepreneurs break through key hurdles to hit new highs in their businesses and bank accounts.
In our conversation, we dig into Mike's strategies for swapping the limiting beliefs we have about wealth with empowering narratives that drive success. You'll hear Mike discuss why boredom and laser-sharp focus are the real game-changers to wealth accumulation, how he made his first million and had an 8-figure exit.
Mike also shares the story about when he realized his son hated playing baseball - and how that opened his eyes to letting his son choose what he wants to do. We'll also get into his experience with co-parenting after getting remarried and why making an impact is more important to him than leaving a legacy.

Christopher Nicolaysen knows what it's like to grow up without a lot of money and with a father who wasn't around much because of work. As a parent, he's done everything he can to ensure his daughters had a father who was home as much as possible and fully present when he was with them.
In our conversation, you'll hear what family time is like in the Nicolaysen household. From getting absolutely demolished by his daughter playing Mario Kart, board game nights, why they decided to get matching tattoos and how he avoids the stereotypical working Dad "How was your day" question.
But it's not all fun and games. Christopher and his wife have already paid for their funerals; they've talked to their kids about money and involved them in their legacy planning. We covered a lot of ground, but the big takeaway here is how he's created such close bonds with his daughters, who are grown-ups now, how he de-escalates confrontation and keeps his marriage fresh and thriving after 26 years. Enjoy!
