When we think of oxytocin we think of the love hormone, the neurotransmitter released during sex and intimate moments with a partner, but it's also the chemical that bonds a mother and a newborn baby. It’s what gives us the warm fuzzies, and helps us create meaningful relationships. It's also important for helping the body repair itself after an injury, and mitigates the brain’s stress response. In today's episode, Shira shares ways we can create more oxytocin in our lives.
