Katharine Manning is one of the most heart-centered people I have had the honor of connecting with. She is the author of The Empathetic Workplace: Five Steps to a Compassionate, Calm, and Confident Response to Trauma on the Job (forthcoming HarperCollins February 2021) and the President of Blackbird.
For fifteen years, Katharine advised the Justice Department on victim issues in its most challenging cases, from terrorism to child exploitation to large-scale financial fraud.
Katharine now uses her expertise to help government, educational, and corporate institutions prepare for and respond to the challenges they face involving employees and members of the public who may be in trauma, from claims of sexual harassment or assault to large-scale impacts like the pandemic.
A member of the California bar, Katharine also served as an attorney with the law firm Pillsbury Winthrop in San Francisco, where she represented Fortune 500 companies in class actions, insurance, and media cases. She is a graduate of Smith College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
In this episode, Katharine and I went really deep into the topic of trauma and how we can support those who suffer from it, along with how we can help employees and coworkers in the workspace regarding trauma on the job.
It's a highly valuable conversation where we uncover how to tap into our intuition + existing skills on becoming more empathetic to others who are navigating trauma. Plus, Katharine offers us solutions around building healthy boundaries and the importance of self-knowledge on our journey.

Are you ready to fully understand your soul's purpose?
I was lucky to be on my good friend and client, Chris Yonkers' podcast, The Secret Thoughts of CEOs. He is a lifelong student of human potential who embraces a uniquely collaborative approach to professional and personal development; one that encompasses the principles of leadership, classical sales training, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
He works with senior executives, entrepreneurs and highly motivated salespeople who aspire to top levels of performance and achievement. His gift is in helping people define their improvement initiatives, set realistic goals for executing them, and align their natural abilities with their core values to create extraordinary outcomes, both in business and in life.
Early on, Chris was impressed by the variety of ways in which people addressed challenges in their lives, handled pressure, or overcame adversity to achieve their goals. Whether he is addressing the qualities that make great athletes excel on the field of battle, drive musicians to the top of their craft, or motivate businesspeople to step up and reap greater rewards for their work, Chris tailors his message of achievement.
Having recognized and maximized his own breakthroughs, he knows how to set people up emotionally for success. He excels at establishing an environment of mutual trust in which his clients can find their "zone" and stave off professional burnout.
He is a highly sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator whose programs are engineered to meet the demands and exceed the expectations of high-end achievers. An accomplished martial artist and practitioner of yoga, Chris extracts valuable business lessons through Sanchin-Ryu karate—in which he holds a 7th degree black belt—and Ashtanga yoga philosophy.
In this episode, Chris and I go in depth on gender in the workplace and mom guilt. We talk about the mindset of women as business leaders and CEOs. We peeled back all sorts of layers to better understand the dynamics and factors that most men don't have to think about that women have learned to adapt to, paradigms holding entrepreneurs back from true success + fulfillment and what we can do about it.

UK's Leading Certified Soul, Money and Mindset coach, and total Rockstar, Harriette Hale, joins for an ultra-enlightening conversation. A serial entrepreneur with 12 years experience and six businesses, Harriette has a global clientele base of creative and spiritual freelancers, fellow entrepreneurs, and individuals on the path to self-growth and ascension.
Her teaching & coaching stems from principles based in Universal Energy Law, first inspired by the well-known 'Law Of Attraction' ideology; however, the practical side of the business and life coaching takes equal precedent.
As the High Priestess of Light, Harriette also applies her energy healing, energy reading, and powerful psychic channel to coaching and mastermind sessions to create a genuinely life-transforming result.
Author of 'The Knowing,' public speaker, and general Light-bringer-about-town, Harriette is both down to earth and sufficiently tuned in to the Universe, on her mission to bring the true meaning of abundance back to Planet Earth.
In this episode, Harriette and I have in-depth conversations as it relates to abundance, money, scarcity, and universal law. We talk deeply about the difference between masculine and feminine energy – plus, Harriette explains how we can completely dismantle the patriarchy.

My good friend and soul brother, Brandon Lucero, joins the podcast today for a paradigm shifting conversation. Brandon has been a part of numerous web-based companies over the last 8 years. He started early by building, growing and selling websites while attending UC Irvine. Some of those sites were even reaching 20,000 unique visitors in a day.
With a wide portfolio ranging from humor to information sites he has bought, created, flipped, and developed numerous sites throughout his time in college. After leaving UC Irvine, he began working for a video marketing company and a local daily deal site based in Southern California.
He quickly became VP of Production at the video marketing company where he held that position for 3 years before starting SoldWithVideo.com. Since founding SoldWithVideo.com he has been helping small businesses increase their local advertising through video marketing, while keeping it extremely affordable.
When not at the SoldWIthVideo.com offices working on his or client's businesses, Brandon enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, cycling, camping, running, watching movies, and hiking.
In this episode, Brandon Lucero talks about transforming our belief system and navigating through limitations by thinking differently, creating differently, and connecting with our audiences in more transformative ways. We talk about teamwork and the importance of well-being over winning in terms of revenue and numbers. Plus, we hit on debt and what Brandon did when he found himself at rock bottom.
