I heard about a concept from the comedian Whitney Cummings through Laura McKowen's podcast, Tell Me Something True.
The concept is you have $100 daily to spend on your energy. You have thoughts, feelings, and activities, people who deposit money into your account, and thoughts, feelings, and people that withdraw and overdraw your account.
In this episode, I will talk about activities that may help you gain energy and what drains your energy so you can start balancing your "energy account."
I also talk about the energy drain that comes from drinking and hangovers in midlife and how I plan for low-energy days.
