When someone hurts you at the level that a narcissist can whether that is with a romantic discard of the relationship or a friend who is extremely manipulative or a family member who always says the most hurtful things that will cut you at your knees.

Whatever it is the hurt you experience from a narcissist is beyond any pain you have ever experienced because they lack empathy. They lack the ability to put themselves in someone else's shoes and because of this they are able to cut people at their knees in order to get what they want.
