For those of you that have a podcast of your own, I know it can be odd sitting down to record a solo podcast episode and wondering what to talk about. In fact, I had this question from a client recently asking how I structure my solo episodes so that it doesn’t feel weird just sitting there essentially talking to yourself.
At the end of the day, you are talking to yourself but it doesn’t have to feel weird. The key is to have a solid structure that you follow. In my case, I like to plan it out using the essay structure that I used back in high school. Who would’ve thought I would actually be using information that I learned in high school!
Today I’m talking through how I plan my solo episodes out so that I always cover the points I want to hit, why I don’t fully script my episodes and the importance of keeping the conversation in a nice flow.
