What a way to kick off 2025!

We promised you we'd catch up with Jo last time we spoke to her as she was about to head off for her first major, so here you go, round 2 with Joanna Wietrzyk and what an incredible episode it is!

Since we last spoke to Jo she has competed in 2 Majors, coming 3rd in Amsterdam (her E15 Debut) securing her World Champs slot and then winning in Hong Kong, showing that she really does belong at the top of the sport and is for sure the rising star in Hyrox.

In this episode Jo shares with us how it felt to travel across the world for her first E15 race, all the feelings racing against the top girls, what it took to secure the win in Hong Kong and her plans for the rest of the season.

We also chat about Hyrox Melbourne , racing mixed doubles against Tia Clair-Toomey and James Newbury and what it felt like to be in the mix with such awesome athletes. A very inspiring, uplifting episode with 'the young girl from Melbourne' who is making a name for herself on the world stage.
