Lauren’s passion for bike touring began when she was studying fine arts in Florence and cycled over 21,000 miles throughout Europe. She founded Ciclismo Classico in 1988 and is considered a pioneer in the bicycle travel world.

Lauren created her bicycle touring company to provide the most authentic, unique and exciting vacations in the adventure travel industry. Her well-crafted, award-winning educational trips in Europe and New England are active immersions into local art, language, music, folklore and delicious cuisine.
