Alissa McCormick or "Heartminded Mama" is a 34-year-old divorced mother to two young boys from the Chicago suburbs. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement. She also has her Master's Degree in Reading, certified K-12. She has taught preschool and second grade for five years. While she was a stay-at-home-mom, she began posting about her parenting style on TikTok and went viral.
