Mad Times With Madison

Welcome back to one shot, where we don't drag out the story, and you get to listen to a whole case in one shot!

-

My instant apologies to Ralph Fiennes. This week Madison tells of a 1993 death so unexpected it had to have its own Snopes article made because people thought it was a myth. In 1993 Canadian attorney Garry Hoy was leading a reception of potential apprentices when tragedy struck.

In 1946 a murderer was loose in Texarkana. The media coined the assailant the "Phantom Killer" because of their ability to evade law enforcement and witnesses. The assailant was able to attack and murder couples, under the cover of darkness for many months. There were some credible leads, and a prime suspect, but it still remains a mystery.

On April 6, 1986 nine year old Anthonette Cayedito opened the front door when she heard a knock at 3am. Her sister Wendy witnessed two men come through the door and take Anthonette. She was never seen again. However after a harrowing 911 call, and a devastating encounter at a diner, we are left with more questions than answers.

*I said Timothy was born in 1989, he was born in 1985! I'm sorry!*

-

May 25, 1991 five year old Timothy Wiltsey went missing. His mother Michelle Lodzinski gave several different stories over the course of a year of what she thinks happened to Timmy after she took him to the park and the carnival. After many frustrating twists and turns, it would still take two decades for someone to be held responsible for what happened to Timmy.

Sorry about last week! and this week! The case starts around the 7 minute mark!!

-

Adrienne Shelly was an independent film maker in the 1990's. She worked extremely hard and found her groove writing and directing. So why, as her film The Waitress (THAT BROADWAY PLAY) was being accepted to Sundance, would she hang herself? Because she was found hanging from her shower rod right before Sundance accepted her film. However, did she really hang herself? Her family fought against that, not able to accept it, and uncovered some additional information.

Taryn tells us about actress Brittany Murphy's tragic death. In 2009 Brittany's mom called 911 saying her daughter couldn't breathe. Hours later 32 year old brittany was pronounced dead from pneumonia and anemia. However, the details surrounding her death were odd and the way her husband and mom were acting was even weirder.

22 year old Grace Millane was staying in New Zealand during her gap year when she went missing. CCTV footage from the night she went missing would be crucial to figuring out what happened to Grace. The CCTV footage led them right to a person of interest. However, what went on after they left the bars and got off camera was a nightmare.
