Coach Brinson is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Jackson Academy athletics. Prior to Jackson Academy, Brinson served as a strength and conditioning coach for the US Army 82nd airborne division. He also spent two seasons at the University of Missouri as the associate director of football athletic performance. Before Missouri, Coach Brinson was an assistant strength coach for the Liberty University football team, the University of Kansas football team, and the Southern Miss football and track and field program. He played offensive line at Southern Miss from 2011-2014 where he received his bachelor's in exercise science and master's in sports coaching. Michael is a certified strength and conditioning coach through the NSCA. A Jackson native, Brinson attended University Christian School where he played football and ran track. Coach Brinson
received the NHSSCA Mississippi Coach of the year.
