I often see people regurgitating online what they hear others speaking on. And while I do recommend speaking to things that are topical so that you’re a part of the conversation, I also believe it should be done in your own unique voice. 

The key to this is first getting sold on yourself. Once you believe that your offer is the best, it carries through in absolutely everything you do. That kind of conviction shows people they can trust you, and that you’re someone safe for them to invest in. 

I talk about the importance of embracing your uniqueness and recognising the skills and expertise that makes you stand out. I encourage you to ask yourself questions to help you get clear on your own value. Why am I the person my clients need to work with? What do I specifically have to offer? 

When you focus on how you’re able to serve your clients, you’ll understand what you want people to know about you. This helps you create the kind of unwavering messaging that attracts people aligned with you and your vision. 

Creating powerful copy that truly conveys who are you are and what you offer can be a daunting task. However, once you discover your core values and recognise your own distinct strengths, this task can become an effortless way to promote what you do.
