I feel like one of the most important things I can do for you, is quite simply, share my mistakes.
There is no such thing as the perfect career, nobody wins all the time. As an entrepreneur, if you are successful, you are going to make mistakes so give yourself some grace and let yourself off the hook.
So many of my challenges over my career have come from dealing with people. I used to hire for skill set and experience only. I didn't look at if I actually liked the person I was hiring and if I actually wanted to be around them. I thought I had to have the person who looked best on paper and that I just had to suck up my feelings.
Here's what I can tell you now, you don't have to hire people that you don't like being around. You don't need to make sacrifices and compromises to get the help that you need. The team members who I've struggled with in the past have always been the ones that I never felt comfortable with from the beginning.
You can't hide the energy with which you communicate. You can't hide your feelings no matter how hard you try. If you have people on your team who you don't like and don't feel excited about, you're not going to grow with the momentum that you would like.
People are going to feel how you feel so surround yourself with people that you feel good about.
If you have a minute you should jump onto Facebook and join our free group - Billionaire Code - We're a community of people supporting each other, growing teams and making a massive impact.
I call it the entrepreneurs dilemma -- We know that we need more help than the average person to reach our full potential but, any request for help makes us feel vulnerable and exposed.
Ask for help and building a team is hard. Then you have to take it to the next level where you are actually helping your team to grow themselves. You have to help your A-players develop so that you don't end up outgrowing your team.
Lower the overwhelm your team feels and they will be able to produce their best work for you. Invest in your team and develop them so that they can continue to support you as your company grows.
If you help your team grow with you, you're going to be far more successful in the long run.
Please take a second if you can to leave a review for the Momentum Podcast. I would love to see what you think and share it with my team. I appreciate you and thank you for being a listener every day.
A question that I get often is, "Alex, how can I work one on one with you?"
Today, the option to work one on one with me other than at some points through our coaching program is very rare.
The reason I can't do one on one is because I've scaled a team around the result that I get for entrepreneurs. The reason that I can consistently get the results for my clients is because of my team and the processes that we have built.
What I used to do one on one could have taken 6-12 months. It takes me along with my team 1 month to 3 months.
I can be a more effective coach when I have a team working alongside me. I can offer my clients so much more than when I operated alone. The results my clients are achieving are far greater because they have the backing of me and a team.
You probably don't want one on one coaching, you just want the results.

Success creates deficits and growth creates complexity.
As your business grows and scales things are inevitably going to become more complicated. Don't make the growth period harder than it needs to be.
This week I've been at the StoryBrand Conference and the biggest thing I'm taking away is the idea of simplicity. Simplicity in messaging, execution and delivery. How simple can you make your business?
This is something that I preach to my clients all the time and this event has just reinforced the way I feel about how entrepreneurs should grow businesses.
If you're ready to start growing your business and build the team that will help you grow, it's simple. Go to billionairecode.com fill out the application and jump on a call with us. I'm looking forward to connecting with you.
This week Cadey and I are attending the Donald Miller Storybrand conference. We're only one day into the conference and we have already gained so much.
You'll often hear me talk about lowering the complexity within your business. This is something that has been reinforced for me this week. Simplicity is the key.
There's an epidemic today of entrepreneurs who are doing too much. When you spread yourself too thin, you're not going to be able to innovate and create the momentum you want.
When you keep things simple you can create massive focus and that's how businesses explode.
If you're not growing maybe you've said yes to way too much. Not everything is an opportunity.
Are you ready to grow your business faster? The best way to set up a call with my team and get some more information for yourself is to head to billionairecode.com
"Fake it until you make it"
You've probably heard this phrase, it's said all the time. It's one of the most toxic phrases thrown around in the entrepreneurial world today.
When you fake it, you are putting up a wall between yourself and the people around you who can actually help you. When you fake it, you repel the people around you and drive them away.
When you're real and grounded, people see and hear you in an entirely different way. Vulnerability might make you feel small, but when you show vulnerability to other people it makes you look stronger and more capable. True connection comes from sharing your truth.
If you're ready to make your greatest contribution and lower the pressure noise around you, let me help you. Momentum Masterclass is designed to help entrepreneurs going through massive transitions not just survive, but thrive and grow - momentummasterclass.com
You want to protect yourself from salespeople who try to close every single deal. You don't want a salesperson who tries to sell ice to Eskimos. I know this sounds counterintuitive but stick with me.
As an entrepreneur, you want to sell to the right people 100% of the time. Not everyone is the right avatar for you. When you sell only to the right people, you get consistent results. When you build a legacy of consistent results, you become the market leader in your category.
Doing this any other way is going to cause you massive unnecessary pressure and noise.
If you're selling the right product to the wrong client, you will not grow.
If you're ready to start building your business fast, reach out to us. Go to billionairecode.com -- Let us show you how to grow like crazy and make the dent in the universe you know you should.
Protect your focus like your life depends on it because it does.
I avoid fishing expeditions like the plague and you should too. They are an absolute waste of your time.
Stop allowing people to fish and have you be something that they catch.
Here's what you should do. Create a strategic plan, know where you're going, commit to it and understand what it is you need.
You should put up barriers to protect yourself from other people who are trying to get lucky. There's an epidemic of this going on because social media has made it so easy for anyone to reach out and get access to you.
If you have a plan and you know where you're going, then you already know exactly what and who you need to acquire to achieve your outcome.
Do you have a plan to focus on that gets you up in the morning and makes you excited about your day? If you'd like to have that you don't have to do it alone. Go to billionairecode.com

What's the real price of success and how can you afford it?
Most people will not tell you that you need a lot more money than you think to build a successful business. It's just a fact of growing -- you're going to need cash.
The more money you make, the more challenges you have and those challenges require money.
The information that I want to give you before you have to rudely learn it for yourself is that when you run a business you need to stack cash and make more money than you ever thought you needed. If you don't do this you will be caught off guard.
When you build success you'll have expenses that you never could have anticipated. Don't ever set up your business so that you break even. Start thinking bigger.

We are all part of the social media experiment. We live in this world that is so overexposed, social media has created an entirely new dynamic to the way that we interact and communicate with each other.
Entrepreneurs now feel multiple types of pressure. There's the pressure to succeed but there's also the pressure to appear successful on social media. We now feel that we need to be putting out this image that we're always happy and things are always great, at the same time as building our businesses.
Here's my argument, too many entrepreneurs are spending a ton of their time, effort and cash to LOOK successful, and if they re-routed that into actual activities that create success, they would get there.
The energy it takes to look successful could actually be used to build real success.
Creating fake momentum and fake status will only cause you pressure and noise that will slow you down. If you want more momentum than you ever thought possible check out momentummasterclass.com
