We no longer work with that firm so rather than eliminate this episode where is a tremendous amount of value, instead we decided to just remove the name of the firm from the audio.
What happened last year for me, my family, and my business? Here's my 2018 recap.
A big part of the past year for me was working on breaking through barriers, putting myself out there and just being real and transparent.
I went deep into our content and applied it obsessively to both my business and my personal life, I wanted to make sure that what we teach people really works. There are too many people out there who put together programs and coaching that they never even try for themselves.
There were a lot of highlights and things that I'm proud of from 2018. I also recognize where I can improve and I know I can work on those things in 2019.
I'm excited to see what this new year brings and I can't wait to share all our successes and challenges with you.
If this podcast means something to you, please share it with your friends. I appreciate you. Happy new year.
There's this theory that when we set unachievable and huge goals that it will somehow motivate us. Everyone's heard a so-called "motivational speaker" say something like "write down the biggest number you could ever imagine making, and then cross it out, and double it". These people claim to be "goal setting experts" but, they're not going to stick around and help you actually achieve the outcomes you're going after. They get you all hyped up and excited but in reality, they're setting you up for failure.
Most people never reach the goals that they set because they don't clearly define them or even seriously consider them to be believable or achievable. If you want to learn how to play to win and make 2019 an unbelievable year go to momentummasterclass.com
It's currently Christmas holidays and I've been spending time with my family in San Francisco. It's been so amazing to see everyone and spend some time together. The holidays are a great time of year but if I'm being totally honest it's also a set up for the perfect storm. There are lots of massive expectations swirling around and it can be a stressful time of high pressure and noise. It's easy to get caught up and spend your whole holiday in a state of panic and run yourself down. You don't have to lean into what the rest of the world does during the holidays, in fact, you can use this as a time to make massive gains on everyone around you.
If you want next year to be the biggest year of your life and your career, go to momentummasterclass.com and let me show you exactly how to plan your next year.
There's more free information available to us in the entrepreneurial world today than there has ever been before. But, is that really a good thing? There's so much information out there that people have forgotten that application trumps knowledge every time. You can be the smartest person in the world but if you're not doing anything with it, then who cares? You need to absorb the content and actually apply it to make a difference in your own life.
I'm considered by many, a very talented entrepreneur. Here's the reality I know about myself, if I can't delegate it and get help with it, it's probably not getting done. That's why I build a team around me. I communicate with my team and allow them to work in their zone of genius so we can achieve the greatest outcomes together. If you feel like you're having to motivate your team on a daily basis it's probably because you have an imbalance of where people are on the team and what they're doing. If you build a team of true believers that are working in their zones, they will carry you!
It's possible to grow your ultimate dream team. It's exactly what we help people to do. Go to billionairecode.com/apply and get on a call with me or my team.
As Entrepreneurial Personality Types, we all like to think that we're positive & motivated thinkers. But, if we're honest, most entrepreneurs have a bias for improvement, we're drawn to the negatives. We look for the deficits and vulnerabilities as a survival mechanism. If you as an entrepreneur feel like you're in a place where your thinking is negatively based, you are expressing a survival instinct.
When you have the tools you need to look at things positively and get out of the negative bias for survival, everything will change for you. If you're ready to turn your business around, we have an event coming up in January that could be just what you need. Go to billionairecodesummit.com and you can find more information on the event.
Learning how to drive fast on a race track has taught me so many lessons about how to run a business. I know, that sounds crazy but stick with me. Anyone who knows me can tell you I like to do things fast, I like to grow business fast and I especially love to drive fast. In my years of racing, I've drawn so many parallels between my experiences on the track and my experiences in my businesses. I want to share some of my lessons with you.
If you're ready to create momentum and if you're ready to get your personal life in order and be congruent with your business you should check out momentummasterclass.com
If you correct your team in a public setting, it drains their motivation and makes them feel attacked. You get leverage when you congratulate your team in public and correct in private. By simply waiting and giving correction in private you show respect and streamline communication in a way that makes everything easier. You want every one of your team members to be confident and excited about what they're doing. You want your team to rocket forward with momentum.
Business is full of uncertainty, that's why having trust in the people around you is so crucial. Every so often I share this quote, "If you've lost trust in the person you are working for, quit. If you've lost trust in the person working for you, fire them. Neither improves with time". I 100% believe that this is true. Trust is a superpower.
Let us show you how to get more out of every member of your team and build a company that makes you feel protected and supported by the people around you every single day. billionairecode.com/apply
