This episode was inspired by a woman on my Manifest Challenge whose whole world fell apart. Two years ago she had the engagement ring, was trying for a baby and had the house plans. Then her partner ended it all. For two years she was stuck - grieving her past life and thinking that her chance at marriage and a family was over.
She made a decision that she needed to move forward with her life and she joined my Manifest Challenge. However, when the Challenge started and she was trying to visualise her "soulmate" all the painful memories came back and she was frustrated. So I told her to use the 5,4,3,2,1 let it go trick...
Two weeks after the Challenge, she messaged me to tell me that "trick" changed her life. That he family, friends and colleagues noticed a difference. She said it helped her just cut the thought. So, I wondered - what's better for your mental health - the ability to cut out negative thoughts or have more positive ones.
Turns out, the real breakthrough comes from reducing negative thinking instead or more positive thoughts. My example with the story proves this.
