Is ''Are You Planning On Having Kids?'' An Appropriate Question?

Rosanna Davidson the Irish model recently took to instagram to tell her fans about her 14 devastating miscarriages and how the question ''When are you planning on having kids?'' was so hurtful when she was struggling to have children. She now has 3 children.

Angela had ovarian cancer a couple of months after she got married and she said that well meaning friends would ask her that question. She said it was upsetting but then she began answering directly and explaining that she had ovarian cancer.

Dubliners Speak About Not Being Able To See Loved Ones Abroad During Pandemic

Have you family living abroad or are you living away from Ireland? How difficult has it been not being able to see them?

This morning we heard from people who have family abroad and people who are living abroad who haven't been able to get home. We heard from Eva and Dougie who are both living in New Zealand and haven't been able to get back to Ireland during the Pandemic.

A lot of the callers explained that they use messenger and facetime but that it's not the same.

Woman Calls For Long Distance Relationships To Be Classed As ''Essential Travel''

Dublin Talks heard from a man who has never met his boyfriend in the US but want's to be classed as an essential traveler so he can visit him during the pandemic.

Would you consider a long-distance relationship a legitimate reason to cross the Atlantic?

Love not Tourism is a campaign set up for long-distance couples who believe they should be offered essential travel status for their relationships and mental health.

Many people in long-distance relationships believe they have been “demonised and criminalised” for wanting to travel to see their partners.Under the current COVID restrictions people are only permitted to travel abroad if they have “reasonable excuses," including going for a medical appointment, to care for a family member or for education.

But there is currently nothing in place for those who want to travel to visit their partner.

Ada set up the Irish Love not Tourism group to cater to all the affected parties in Ireland.

Dublin Woman ''I Will Call The Gardaí If I See Further Gathering''

Linda got in touch with the show, having put up a video of over 100 people leaving Blackpitts Mosque last Friday. Under the current lockdown, religious services are not allowed in person and should be online.

Larry got in touch also, stating that he has reported it frequently and that nothing has been done. There is currently a Gardaí investigation into this large gathering.

When Your Child Asks You A Very Awkward Question

Jeremy's son left him speechless after asking him what thrush was - after seeing an ad for it on television. Jeremy didn't exactly answer truthfully. We heard about the awkward questions that our listener's kids have asked them in the past that they found difficult to answer. One caller had to explain to her daughter what an orgasm was, she told her that it was like getting two Cornetto ice creams.

Dublin Talks Listener Has Rescheduled Wedding 3 Times

As the government announced late last night that there will be a continuation of the level 5 lockdown till the end of April. We received a call from Sam who says that she has had to reschedule her wedding three times. Many of the callers after her, offered advice. Avi got in touch to say that she should get married now in a small ceremony or micro-wedding and that she can have a big party in the near future.
