Welcome to Pass Around the Smile’s first guest episode with the one and only, Sarah Davidson. You may know her as Spoonful of Sarah, or the woman behind Seize the Yay where through her podcast and book she effortlessly guides and inspires with uplifting, honest and thought provoking content. Sarah is witty, intelligent, and from my eyes, one of the most inspiring business women in Australia who went from the corporate world as a lawyer, to funtrepreneur when she founded Matcha Maiden and Matcha Mylkbar.

I received a very supportive and encouraging email from Sarah at the beginning of my podcasting journey, so I thought what better way to begin this episode than chatting about her quote, ‘success doesn’t halve when you share it, it doubles.’

We dive into Sarah’s leap from what was expected to be her long term career as a lawyer to the unknowns of starting a business - with all the fears, blocks and limiting beliefs which came along the way. Sarah has a really refreshing approach as we discuss comparison and imposter syndrome and how we can combat it, so it doesn’t take away our inner power.

The law of attraction is my favourite law, however it’s not the only law which helps you manifest your desires. The law of attraction is just 1 of 12 laws of the universe. (The 12 laws listed below.) In today’s podcast we are focusing on 4 of these laws which I believe not only support us in manifesting our desires, but also help us understand why our desires may not be manifesting in the way we want them to.

We delve deeper into the law of divine oneness, law of vibration, law of action and law of rhythm. I think it’s important to have an understanding of what these laws are and how they can assist you, before we get right into the law of attraction in an upcoming episode.

I hope this episode can bring some u-huh moments for you! Because looking into these laws certainly did that for me! I have been practising manifestation since I was about 14 years old. There have been times where I have attracted the most magical experiences, people and circumstances, right down to exactly what I was imagining - which proved to me that I created it! However there have also been times where no matter how hard I tried, my manifestations would not materialise.

Each time this would happen, I would break down the steps so I could understand exactly why I hadn’t manifested that certain desire. What I found was that each time, I wasn’t working alongside one or two of the below laws. Not only do these laws assist us in manifesting our desires, but they also help us live a free flowing and enjoyable life.

Welcome to episode 2 of the Pass Around the Smile podcast! I am SO thankful for your support after episode 1 - I was completely overwhelmed in the best way possible! THANK YOU!

It's safe to say that this was a hard episode for me to record! I found it quite uncomfortable talking about my life for this long - but I thought it was necesary as in future episodes, I'll be referencing these pivotal moments in my life. Pass Around the Smile is also about being open, raw and vulnerable - so it's only fair that I do the same. I'm also trying to practice what I preach. I almost didn't post this episode because of the fear of judgement that could come with sharing my feelings and experiences. However I'm feeling the fear and doing it anyway!

So come along with me as I chat about my experiences growing up on H20: Just Add Water, navigating the competitive nature of the film and television industry and life beyond - where I finally was able to let go and trust the process, enough to be met with my life purpose through Pass Around the Smile.

Toward the end of this episode, I chat about how being attached to one outcome can block the law of attraction from working effortlessly for you. Often we think we know what's best for us, however if we are so focused on forcing something that isn't meant to be at that moment, not only are we met with blocks, but we are also missing opportunities and signs pointing us in the right direction. And usually, that direction leads you on a path that is more than you could have ever imagined for yourself.

Hello and welcome to the first episode of the Pass Around the Smile podcast. In this episode, we chat about all things fear and pressure. For three years I had been wanting to start a podcast and despite the many signs and opportunities I had, fear held me back.

Often we hold on to fear in the hope it will protect us from failure, judgement or rejection - however that just leaves us stagnant. In this episode I chat about author Bronnie Ware and how her research on 'The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying' emphasises why it's so important to live life on OUR terms. We chat about the pressure we too often feel from external sources like society, family members, friends and colleagues, however... is most of the pressure you're feeling actually coming from the pressure you put on yourself?  We finish the episode with a little chat about a crucial step which is often missed when manifesting your desires.
