Some great questions this week out of the Million Dollar Body Community (join here if you're not a member yet: facebook.com/groups/optimalself)
1. "I have a big family reunion this weekend and I am sure lots of my family will question the new "diet" that I am on. How do you explain the glycogen priming method in an easy way to someone who has never heard it before to where it would make sense?
2. I was recently talking to a friend of one who is a nurse at the hospital and telling him about eating carbs only at night time in which he questioned that it is completely opposite of what they teach diabetic patients. They tell them to avoid carbs at night time. Can you dive into the glycogen priming concept a little more when it comes to dealing with questions about the way we have grown up learning about how we "should" eat according to the American lifestyle and or if it is beneficial for diabetics?
3 . Can you give a breakdown of the different types of dietary fat and let us know which are really bad, which are not good or bad and which are recommended in our daily diet?
4. All of the various types of protein out there are confusing. Can you break down the difference between a concentrate, an isolate and a hydrolysate (for what) and which protein types are best for us?
