Britney Spears offering police “lasagna or whatever you want” to get out of trouble somehow turned into Ricki and Tim revealing the exact meals they’d use to charm their way out of a fine. Tim whipped out his crispy chicken thigh recipe like he was secretly auditioning for MasterChef, while Ricki stood firm on lamb cutlets being her ultimate weapon. Then callers came through with curry pies, sugary spag bols and enough food chat to make everyone instantly starving. Also, Tim casually revealed cops get half-price Maccas and now we’re all considering a career change.

After Harry Styles reveals where he lost his V card, we ask what your first time was like. Henry Badgery an AI expert joins us to chat prompts. The new generation don't know much about CDs anymore. And people are just queuing up for anything.

Henry Badgery from Prompt Cowboy, Australia's largest AI platform, comes in with cowboy hats for everyone and answers the question we have all been quietly wondering: is AI actually making us dumber? His honest answer is yes, if you let it think for you. But used correctly it is genuinely empowering, and Ricki proves it by using ChatGPT to successfully fight a $300 parking fine she never would have contested on her own. Listeners ask if AI will eventually turn on us and Henry says don't worry about the Hollywood version, the bigger problem is what happens to human purpose when AI does all the work. His personal AI of choice for serious tasks is Claude by Anthropic, which he says is far more intelligent than the others. We are not biased.

A psychologist has put together a guide to arguing better in relationships and the key rules are: keep it logical, never bring up the past, listen without making assumptions, and pick your battles because most things just are not worth it. Ricki and Rich apparently communicate rather than argue which is very healthy. However Ricki did spend last Saturday morning crying with a champagne in her hand, furious about absolutely nothing, massaging the frown off her face while Rich sat quietly in the corner. Sometimes the toddler emotions just arrive uninvited and there is nothing to be done about it.

Happy Friday!! We uncover the very unexpected place Channel Nine originally got their iconic intro music from, and a cooking hack used by grandmas everywhere suddenly has us questioning how old we’ve become. Plus, Sydney’s still buzzing after that wild meteor sighting last night!

A meteor lit up Sydney's skies at 6:30 last night and Duncan at the Norwood driving range had absolutely no idea because he was locked in on his swing. He films himself hitting to analyse his technique and only discovered the meteor when he reviewed the footage afterwards. He briefly looked up mid-session, thought it might be lightning, and went straight back to work. The meteor is in the background of his swing video and it looks incredible. Duncan is choosing to see it as a sign from the universe that his golf game is about to improve. We respect the optimism.

Bondi’s still recovering after a huge overnight house party, and somehow the fallout from tensions in Iran has now reached Australian supermarkets with a possible Diet Coke shortage on the horizon. We realised Tim is basically the human embodiment of Inner West Sydney, except for one detail that completely throws the stereotype out the window. There’s also a fascinating private investigator story that had us asking way too many questions, plus Tim Ross aka Rosso drops by for a very competitive game of Quick Draw.

Private investigator Cassie Crofts from Venus Investigations goes viral for spotting the same pattern every time: men heading to a car wash right before meeting their affair partner. Not to cover their tracks, but to impress. We are both appalled and unsurprised. Cassie also reveals that cheaters are getting caught via Amazon Alexa voice history, a secret password protected shared note in the iPhone Notes app that nobody thinks to check, and suddenly developing new hobbies and taste in music that have clearly been influenced by someone else. If your Apple Pay guy is suddenly paying cash for everything, that is also a red flag. Three quarters of people who call a PI turn out to be right. Trust your gut.

Young drivers have been bedazzling their L and P plates and Transport NSW has issued a major warning to stop immediately. We think they look kind of cute but rules are rules. This opens up a trip down memory lane: Ricki had a crazy bitch sticker and fluffy dice on her VT Commodore station wagon which also had a PA system in the boot for gigs, the Oakley sticker above the rear view mirror was peak early 2000s energy, and a listener in Camden puts reindeer ears on her car every Christmas and wraps tinsel around the mirrors. Car personalisation is a human right and we stand by that.
