The new year is almost here and the chiropractic profession is full of dreamers. “Next year is going to be a breakthrough year!” Why are so many chiropractors obsessed with changing the world? Is that really what we should be doing?
In this episode of the Rocket Chiropractic Podcast, I talk about priorities. I discuss the people and places where chiropractors are likely to make the biggest impact. I also talk about the importance of a practical purpose. Let’s get into it!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and several chiropractors have asked me about sending out Christmas cards to their patients. I have an alternative suggestion for you that I will share on this episode of the podcast.
Also, I talked about blogging for chiropractors in a previous episode. I had several people reach out to me after that and it made me want to revisit the topic and clarify a few things. Let’s get into it!
The end of the year is coming quickly and chiropractors are starting to look back and reflect on the year. How did it go? Was this year better than last year or was this year a bit of a disappointment? What about next year? Is it going to be any better than this one?
In this episode of the podcast, I talk about the simple secret to having a better year next year than this one. I talk about what the problem is NOT and how the future you is better than you are now. Let’s talk about it.
Stop me if you have heard this, “Content is KING.” I talk to chiropractors all the time who know (or think they know) that blogging is an essential part of growing a successful chiropractic practice. Why do they know this? Because someone at a seminar told them. It must be true, right?
In this episode of the podcast, I talk about blogging. I discuss the different ways that blogging can help a chiropractor grow their practice. I talk about the assumptions that are usually NOT true, and I give you a pro-tip that will benefit you more than traditional blogging. Let’s talk about it.
Year-long chiropractic care plans are pretty common amongst a lot of chiropractors. Patients will come in with a particular problem (big and small) and they will leave with care recommendations that last for an entire year.
Where did the practice of year-long care plans come from? Why would chiropractors think it's a good thing? Why would chiropractors be opposed to it? Let's talk about it.
This podcast episode is going to be a bit of a mashup. First, I talk about changes to Google My Business and a few things that chiropractors need to know in order to get more patients from Google.
Next, I talk about patient retention. It’s so important that you stay connected to your patients even after they discontinue care.
Last, I discuss the value of being direct. So often chiropractors will spend time networking and marketing but they don’t ever get anything from it. Maybe it’s time to be more direct. Let’s talk about it.
I'm going to start off by saying this, I think most chiropractors should make more money. It costs a lot of time and money to become a chiropractor and there are a LOT of them who are struggling to make ends meet. Why is that?
In this episode, I talk about how much money chiropractors make in each state. I discuss how the average income for chiropractors and schooling costs compare to other professions. And I talk about the biggest factor when it comes to how much money a chiropractor makes. Let's talk about it.
Most chiropractic patients don’t stick around forever. If you ever hear a chiropractic coach or a practice management group tell you otherwise, I would strongly recommend proceeding with caution. They are probably lying to you.
But just because most patients don’t stick around forever, that doesn’t mean your office should just let them go without any follow-up. In fact, you should have a detailed follow-up plan for the long term and the short term. It will help your patient retention tremendously. Let’s talk about it.
I don’t know that I have ever met a chiropractor who wouldn’t like to get more patients from the internet. You would have to be crazy to turn that down. But how do you do that? Is it as simple as a website or regularly posting to your social media accounts?
In this podcast episode, I talk about 3 things chiropractors need to consider if they want to get more patients from the internet. I also discuss why so many chiropractors get taken advantage of by website creators, marketers, and practice management.
I’ve worked with hundreds of chiropractors over the years. Pretty much all of them were in a growth phase of their practice/life. They want to improve their practice size. They want to help more people. They want to make more money. Nothing wrong with any of that.
But I’ve noticed a pattern. I’ve noticed 2 very common (and simple) mistakes amongst chiropractors who continue to struggle. They make these mistakes repeatedly and then wonder why nothing ever changes. I’m going to talk about these mistakes on the podcast this week. Let’s get into it.
